Justin Bieber is now the owner of two Bored Ape Yacht Club NFTs and one of the few celebrities that own more than one of the popular non-fungible tokens. Here’s how Bieber is impacting Bored Ape Yacht Club positively. How it all started: Justin Bieber made headlines on the 29th of January 2022 with the purchase of several various NFTs including the popular Bored Ape Yacht Club #3001. Justin Bieber coughed up 500 Ethereum (ETH) for the Bored Ape, or around $1.3 million. Many questioned the large price tag given this particular Bored Ape not being the rarest and ranking as the 9777th rarest of 10,000. The floor price of Bored Apes hit new highs days after Bieber’s purchase, with the price rising to 115 ETH to 118 ETH. Bieber’s Ape purchase marked the seventh-highest amount paid for a Bored Ape in ETH, according to OpenSea. Here Is What Went down: Bored Ape Yacht Club #3001 purchased for 500 Ethereum (CRYPTO: ETH) on Saturday 29 January 2022, the equivalent of $1,311,170 based on the $2,622.34 price of ETH at that time. The non-fungible token was snapped by an OpenSea account going by the handle 'JustinBieberNFTs', believed to be owned by Justin Bieber himself. The account is the owner of several inBetweeners NFTs including the one that is the profile picture of Justin Bieber on Twitter. The OpenSea account owns whooping of over 100 NFTs, including recent purchases of well-known NFT projects such as Doodles, CloneX and World of Women. A World of Women NFT was snapped for 16 ETH Saturday 29 January 2022. The Doodles NFT was purchased for 13 ETH same day.  Whereas the CloneX NFTs were previously bought for 49.99 and 50 ETH respectively.
