Kodak Black Says He'll Do A Verzuz With Jay Z But There Are Serious Strings Attached...15% Of His Catalog Plus High Ranking Position At Roc Nation At Stake

JAY-Z made it clear last month that he doesn’t think any rapper could win against him in a Verzuz battle, but clearly Kodak Black doesn't agree with Hov at all and he's willing to challenge him toe-to-toe with specific clauses by the Miami's very own himself.
On Monday (January 3 2021), the Flamboyant Florida rapper issued a public Verzuz challenge to Hov on Twitter, but his proposal comes with more specific terms and he's sounding more than confident.

“I’ll do a versus wit Jay Z,” he wrote. “‘IF’ he win he get 15 % of my catalog!” If Kodak were to win, however, he wants a high-level job at JAY-Z’s label. “I win he make me Vice President of roc nation,” he added.

Kodak Black’s tweet caused plenty of chatter online, with a comvoy of fans flooding his replies with their astonishing reactions.

“JAY-Z?? as in Hov, Jigga, Iceberg Slim, S. Carter, The God MC…THAT JAY-Z???” one user replied along with a Michael Jordan reaction photo, while another chimed in with a clip of Morgan Freeman’s character from 1989’s Lean On Me admonishing a young boy for smoking crack.

Kodak Black isn’t the only rapper who wants to take on JAY-Z in a Verzuz battle. Snoop Dogg, T.I., Rick Ross, Busta Rhymes and Juvenile are some of the rappers who've shown interest in taking Jigga head-on, while a recent Instagram post from the codeine crazy hitmaker Future suggests he believes he can also beat the Roc nation mogul.

 


“No one can stand on that stage with me,” Hov asserted during a Twitter Spaces conference promoting Alicia Keys’ KEYS album in December. “It’s not a chance in hell that anyone can stand on that stage with me. You gotta stand in front of the ‘Grammy Family’ freestyle live?"
