On Friday (February 11), Snoop Dogg dr released his twentieth studio album, B.O.D.R. (Bacc On Death Row). The launch of the album came after the news on Wednesday (February 9 2022) that the West Coast hip hop legend had acquired the Death Row Records brand from MNRK Music Group. Death Row was his debut record label and B.O.D.R. is the first album through Death Row Records, now under Snoop Dogg’s ownership. According to a Billboard report, Snoop Dogg's lawyers had filed an intent-to-use application for the name at the federal US Patent and Trademark Office earlier this week. Snoop is allegedly planning to use the name for a brand selling hot dogs and other types of sausages. His lawyer filed the patent last month. Snoop appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live in 2016 where he told the host “I ain’t ever eating a mother fucking hot dog again” after finding out how the popular wiener is made. “If that’s how they make hot dogs, I don’t want one. I’m good,” he joked. Fast forward Six years later, it looks like Snoop Doggy Dogg has re-discovered his love for hot dogs as he launches his next venture into the confectionary scene. Snoop Dogg  is more than ready to show the world his vision for  Def Jam Records . On Friday (December 31 2021), the D-O-Double-G who happens to be one of Def Jam's executive consultant debuted the  Algorithim   movie, an hour-long string combination of music videos from the project featuring artists such as  Blxst ,  Dave East ,  Fabolous  and more. The “movie” is tied together with clips from a wild Def Jam party where the artists on  Algorithim  take part in a series of interviews breaking down their involvement and how the project came to be. The  Algorhitim  compilation isn’t the only project under Snoop’s sleeve.
